Profile rows include username, fullName, biography, followersCount, followsCount, postsCount, verified, isBusinessAccount, private, profilePicUrl.

Sessions and rate limits

Nothing to set up. Profiles, posts and reels are read without any account — that is the fast path, and it is not subject to any shared limit. If Instagram gates a particular request, the run falls back to a built-in session automatically and carries on. If that is unavailable too, you get an honest errorCode row rather than silence.

The built-in session is shared by everyone running this actor, so sustained high-volume runs can meet a shared rate limit. To avoid that entirely, paste your own Instagram account cookie into sessionCookies and that run gets a private rate limit that nobody else shares. Chrome: F12 → Application → Cookies → instagram.com → copy the sessionid value, one per line. Use a throwaway account, never one you care about — automated reading can get an account rate-limited or checkpointed.

Pricing

$0.45 per 1,000 results ($0.00045 each), plus $0.0005 each time a run starts. Flat rate — no volume tiers, no plan gates — and you are charged only for items actually returned.

FAQ

Do I need an Instagram account? No. Public profiles, posts and reels are read without one, and a built-in session covers the cases where Instagram gates a request. Supplying your own cookie in sessionCookies is optional and only buys you a private rate limit.

Do I need to configure a proxy? No. The actor rotates its own exit addresses and hops on every block, and that is included in the run cost. If you have your own proxy servers, paste them into proxyUrls and they are used exactly as given.

Can it get comments / followers / private accounts? Those require a logged-in session and aren't part of the keyless scope. Comments are available via a dedicated companion actor.

It returned an errorCode row — why? That's the actor telling you exactly what happened (RATE_LIMITED, BLOCKED, NOT_FOUND) instead of failing silently.
